Beiersdorf Converted Plant Operations to Produce Hand Sanitizers

To address shortage of hand sanitizers amid COVID-19 battle in the country, PT. Beiersdorf Indonesia (manufacturer of NIVEA and Hansaplast) converted part of its plant operations in PC Malang to produce hand sanitizers to supply hospitals in dire need of hand sanitizers.

PT. Beiersdorf Indonesia is producing 40,000 bottles of hand sanitizers for COVID-19 referral hospitals, various foundations, partners and own employees. President Director of PT. Beiersdorf Indonesia, Holger Welters, remarks, "We hope to contribute to alleviating some of the burden faced by those fighting in the front line of this health crisis, hence our decision to donate hand sanitizers to hospitals, which struggle with the shortage."
