After some delays brought about by the pandemic, the Energy Working Group was able to once again hold a dinner meeting, which was a coordination meeting that was convened on 6 October 2020 with a fair mix of participants that attended either directly or online. Hosted by David Cullerier (EuroCham Board Patron for the Energy Working Group), the dinner was also attended by Thomas Wagner (Head of Energy Working Group), and other Deputies: Eva Pitterling, Frederic Fontan, Miroslav Dijakovic, and Omar Abdulkadir. Various topics were discussed, including the draft of Presidential Regulation in the sector, the Renewable Bill, the recently passed Omnibus Law, and also activities currently in the pipeline for the Group in coming months.

EuroCham Finance, Tax, and Investment Working Group organized a virtual meeting on Tuesday, 6 October 2020 by inviting expert speakers, partners and counsel, from Hiswara Bunjamin & Tandjung to exchange updates on financing topics (as presented by Adrianus Adritomo (Tommy) and Tjahjadi Bunjamin), employment regulations on Omnibus Law (presented by Narendra Adiyasa), as well as the new privacy regime contemplated by the Indonesian Data Protection Bill (presented by Sakurayuki and Cellia Cotan Cognard).

The overall meeting was chaired and moderated by the Head and Deputy Head of the EuroCham Finance, Tax, and Investment Working Group, Omar Abdulkadir (Taxation Service Advisor, PwC) and Leonard Anilaputra Eggert (Chief Representative Indonesia, LBBW). The session was closed with brief updates provided by the Head of the Working Group on current advocacy efforts undertaken by EuroCham.
